**ANNOUNCEMENT**
Sign Up to Interview Applicants for the Class of 2023
With the Regular Decision application deadline fast approaching, the DCC is in need of volunteer alumni interviewers. If you are interested in interviewing applicants from China, please contact Chris Wang ’98 by WeChat (ID: 18612809911). Graduate school alumni are more than welcome to interview candidates as well.
Alumni interviewers play an integral role in Dartmouth’s recruitment, admissions, and yield efforts. Some of Dartmouth’s most impressive students in recent years have come from the pool of applicants from China, as evidenced by the fact that two of the four valedictorians from the Class of 2017 hailed from China!

[All DCC] Niseko Green Trip

Come celebrate Dartmouth's 250th anniversary with fellow alumni from across the Asia Pacific region and around the world at the 5th Annual Niseko Green Weekend on February 22-24, 2019.
The Niseko Green Weekend has been held annually in either February or March each year since 2015. Inspired by the CarniVail, the decades-old event which takes place every March in Vail, Colorado, Niseko Green seeks to bring together alumni from across Asia and across the globe to network, enjoy, educate and stay connected to Hanover in that quintessential Dartmouth way: frolicking in the snow.

DCC Hosts Dickey Center Director in Beijing
More than 25 alumni from the Dartmouth China Club gathered in Beijing to host Daniel Benjamin, Director of the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding, for dinner and discussion on November 13th.
Benjamin, who has served as director of the Dickey Center since 2012, spoke about the wide range of exciting programs currently offered through the Dickey Center. Quoting Dartmouth’s longest-serving president, Benjamin noted the mission of the Center is to “make the world’s problems our problems”, and fielded questions from the audience about some of the biggest issues facing Dartmouth, US-China relations, and the world today.
Special thanks to Chris Wang ’98, Philip Sin ’97 for hosting the dinner, and to Yonna Zheng ’15 for her efforts in organizing the event.

Alumni in both Shanghai and Beijing had the opportunity to meet with Zholl Tablante, who serves as Senior Assistant Director of Admissions and oversees admissions for the Asia region. Zholl spoke to alumni about changes that have occurred in Dartmouth admissions since Lee Coffin took over as Dean of Admissions in 2016. These changes include efforts to expand international enrollment, much of which will be driven by an increase in enrollment from China.
